Field School Registration |
Registration in the Antigua Field School is open to students of any accredited university. We do, however, require that either Archaeology 306 or Archaeology 506 is taken for credit. Due to logistical constraints we do not generally accept volunteers as they require resources reserved for our students. International (non-Canadian) students are more than welcome to participate in the Antigua Field School and are encouraged to apply. Please note that international students are required to pay supplementary tuition and fees, as per the University of Calgary guidelines. Details of current international student tuition and fees are available here. Prior to being accepted any non-University of Calgary students (whether Canadian or non-Canadian) must have the field school course accepted by the registrar’s office of their home institution prior to initiating the registration process. This ensures that your home university will transfer the credits towards your degree. The first step of the registration process involves the completion and return of our questionnaire. The questionnaire has been provided in Microsoft word format below. Once the form is completed return it by either attaching it to an email addressed to Beau Cripps Registration is limited to approximately 15 to 20 students in any given year. Therefore, please initiate the registration process as soon as possible to ensure your spot for the upcoming field season. Students are typically accepted from October to April but once all available spots are filled no additional applications are accepted. |
